These Are My Wishes For All Of You……..

I have been sitting here trying to think of what to write to express how I feel and what I wished for all of you during this holiday season. This writer seemed to be able to put into words exactly what I was feeling, but having difficulty putting on paper.

May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand.
May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with courage and optimism.  Always know that there are those whose love and understanding will always be there, even when you feel most alone. May you discover enough goodness in others to believe in a world of peace.  May a kind word, a reassuring touch, and a warm smile be yours every day of your life, and may you give these gifts as well as receive them.  Remember the sunshine when the storm sees unending.  Teach love to those who know hate and let that love embrace you as you go into the world….

May the teachings of those you admire become part of you, so that you may call upon them. Remember, those whose lives you have touched and who have touched yours are always a part of you, even if the encounters were less than you would have wished. It is the content of the encounter that is more important than its form.

May you not become too concerned with material matters, but instead place immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart. Find time in each day to see beauty and love in the world around you. Can you believe the holiday season just around the corner? I know, I know, we really don’t want to think about that, but it’s coming, like it or not!

With the hustle and bustle of the season, sometimes we forget that this is also a great time to plant seeds for our business or find product users. It is written, there is a time to sow and a time to reap. What you sow during the holidays will bear much fruit during the upcoming growing season. (January – March are typically the best months for any online or network marketing business).

Get out when you can and plant those seeds. Here are 5 tips to help you incorporate your business into your everyday life during holidays.

Organize a play date with the kids

Invite a few of your friends over for a play date with the kids. The moms will enjoy the company of adults and the kids will have a good time playing together. If it snows, it’s a plus, because building a snowman is always fun. Let them know that you will be showing some of your new products and having some snacks and beverages. Be creative with your products, so they will be seeing something different than what they’ve seen before.

Network with the holiday help

This season is a time for doing many activities that you won’t be doing any other time of the year. Will you be chopping down your own tree? Most tree farms are seasonal. You will be seeing employees that you don’t typically see all year long. Lots of college kids are employed during the holidays. Generation Y kids are great prospects for any type of new product or business, because college kids always need extra money.

Are you heading out for a holiday vacation? Resort employees are always looking for extra income and ways of feeling better.

Visit your local craft shows and holiday expos

There are so many opportunities here. This time of the year is an amazing time for craft fairs and expos; folks are coming to buy gifts. Take plenty of business cards and samples if you have them. Share your product and opportunity with the vendors. They are all entrepreneurs.

Even if you don’t have a booth, go have fun, and don’t forget your business cards. Many of these people are just hoping for the right product or opportunity will come along!

Participate in holiday church activities

I don’t know about your church, but my church comes alive during this season. There are so many networking activities. There are singles’ groups, couples’ groups, choir groups, plays and so many more. Get involved. You will not only be doing a great service to your church, but you may also pick up some prospects or sell some product along the way.

Walk your dog! (This is my dog’s personal favorite when you can get her butt out of bed!!)

Do you have a t-shirt that advertises your website. If you don’t, you should get at least one. Get a dark shirt with big white letters that has your domain name on the front and back and walk your dog anywhere the crowds gather. Make sure you have a catchy, easy to remember domain name.

People come out at this time of the year. They may not be ready to start their own home based business right now, but if you plant the seeds and continue to water them through the use of a simple follow up system, when the kids go back to school and the holiday season is over, some of those moms and dads just may be looking to make some extra income.

The best thing is you don’t have to change anything you’re doing. Just go about your business and collect names!
